The design

The new Mustang Mach-E, with the Extended Range battery and rear wheel drive, provides an electric range of up to 610 km (WLTP) on a single charge, putting an end to the "stress of autonomy".
It is equipped with a top charging system which allows it to be connected to a simple domestic socket, an industrial socket, a special wallbox wall charger, and public AC or DC charging stations (AC or DC) with a power of up to 150kW.
O maximum charging rate is carried out on a DC fast charger. In this case, Just 10 minutes charging are enough for the Mustang Mach-E to add additional 119 km of autonomy, while for charging the battery from 10% to 80% required just one hour charging (for Standard Range version).
With the help of the FordPass app, Mustang Mach-E owners can have remote access information on battery charging and remaining range of the car, but also to plan the desired charging hours in order to take advantage of any discounts that may apply during the night hours, while ensuring that they have the necessary autonomy to complete their next trip or journey.
In addition, with the vehicle preparation function (pre-conditioning) through the FordPass app, drivers can set the time of their next departure, and pre-select the ideal cabin temperature. In this way, the new Mustang Mach-E regulates the temperature while the vehicle is charging, with the aim of using less energy when moving or off-charging.

Using Bluetooth technology, the vehicle can detect the owner's smartphone as it approaches the vehicle, unlocking the doors and allowing the car to start without the owner having to take their phone out of their pocket or use the car key.

Unique driving modes
The Mustang Mach-E has a driving profile to give the driver a unique experience. Three unique driving profiles, Whisper, Active and Untamed, configure the cabin's interior lighting, display graphics, overall driving behavior, as well as the "engine sound" that reaches the cabin interior.
The choice Whisper increases steering assistance and makes the throttle response softer, while the 'engine noise' reaching the cabin is reduced, providing a smoother driving experience. The new generation of the system, with twice the processing power of SYNC3, is the smartest version of SYNC Ford has offered customers to date. The new Mustang Mach-E all-wheel drive system distributes torque independently to the front and rear wheels for improved acceleration and handling. This is achieved by using two different/independent electric motors, one on the front and one on the rear axle of the car. As there is no mechanical connection between the front and rear axles, these electric motors can transfer up to 100% of the available torque to each axle at any time, offering impressive acceleration, excellent traction and economy.

Intelligent Range
Utilising real-time cloud connectivity, the Intelligent Range system is able to calculate at any time and with high accuracy the remaining autonomy of the vehicle by recognising the driving style of each user and taking into account various factors that affect the electric autonomy of the vehicle, such as the predicted outside temperature, the altitude difference of the destination set in the navigation system, as well as traffic on the roads. All of this in real time, even utilizing data from other Ford electric vehicles that are ahead of the road. If the range is significantly altered by any factors, an alert notifies the driver of the new range, informing them accordingly of the reason for the change.
