Bentley Motors has been named Britain's most iconic car manufacturer, according to the UK's longest-running corporate reputation research company. Over the last five years, this was Bentley's third top spot reflecting the luxury brand's outstanding car range, business success and Beyond100 strategy for the future.

The annual "Most Admired Companies" study spans more than 30 years and rewards the best businesses across the country. Bentley was ranked number one in the extensive study of 250 leading British companies in 25 sectors. Industry executives were asked to vote from a shortlist of 13 key criteria and Bentley was ranked 1st in 8 of these 13 categories.

In particular, Bentley's excellence in product and service quality, management quality, financial strength, innovation capability, long-term capabilities, ability to attract and retain talent, and competitiveness emerged in this ultimate assessment of corporate reputation as the industry leaders.

This accolade is further proof that Bentley continues to set new benchmarks for success through the Beyond100 strategy. This ambitious goal is pushing Bentley towards a future defined by sustainable luxury, as the British brand moves closer to its goal of having a full range of battery-powered electric models by 2030.

Britain's most iconic companies

The UK's Most Admired Companies study was created by Professor Mike Brown, a member of the prestigious Leeds Business School. It is the country's longest-running survey of corporate reputation, with data dating back to 1990. Using responses from board representatives, analysts and commentators, the study is an assessment of corporate reputation by industry executives, as perceived by a company's closest critics, competitors and financial influencers. Corporate reputation experts, Echo Research, administer the study by interviewing senior executives who participate via online and telephone.
