Every sports car and Bmw enthusiast has a soft spot for a particular model. For some it's the legendary M1, for others the now classic 3.0 CSL , for most the beautiful E46 M3 CSL, for me again I shudder at the sound of the E92 M3 GTS.
Bmw created the M division in 1972 to meet the needs and facilitate BMW's busy racing program. The 60's and 70's were very successful...In 1978 after the increased public demand for sports cars they created the first M, the historic M1.The following year they introduced the first M aimed at a wide audience, the M535 and that's where it all went their way.
All cars from the M Division are exhaustively tested on the world's most demanding track in the Nürburgring.
In the following video you will admire the parade of almost all the BMW M where they deserve to be on the track.
In its 40-plus years of history it has introduced almost everything from 12-cylinder to four-cylinder from multi-turbo V8s to the M3's notorious straight 6. One thing's for sure, all of them are the most centrifugal, offering the widest smile to their drivers
Really, what's your favorite?
