The Nissan X-Trail X-Scape comes with a compact and lightweight drone as standard, featuring advanced optical tracking technology and "follow me" GPS, so that operators can take stunning photos and videos of their adventurous activities on the move.
The drone is a Nissan-branded Parrot Bebop 2, weighing just 500 grams and accompanied by a Parrot Skycontroller, 2 remote controls, and a pair of Parrot Cockpitglasses. The latter allow "First Person View" - First Person View (FPV) - , via live image transmission from the 14 megapixel camera. The experience offered by this equipment is unique, as the user enjoys a truly panoramic view of the chosen landscape.
The drone's extreme versatility and digital camera stabilizer allow filming in high quality images with a flight time of up to 25 minutes. The whole system is easily stored and transported thanks to the special backpack that comes with it.
The X-Trail X-Scape special edition is available with the 1.6-litre (130PS) diesel engine, and only in the top-of-the-range Techna trim level. Planned production of the X-Scape version of the X-Trail will be 1,200 units, thus ensuring its exclusivity for the lucky ones who get it.
