Specifically, traffic, public transport, the green ring and the 120 changes during the public consultation of the new Road Traffic Code are among the issues mentioned by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Vassilis Economou, speaking on ERTNews Newsroom and journalists George Siadima and Stella Papamichael.
In particular, the speed limit within the urban area will be 30 kilometres per hour, while now you do not have time to cross the road, said Vassilis Economou, recalling that in 2023 the toll was 122 pedestrian deaths and 80% of them were over 65 years old.

Speaking about 120 changes during the public consultation on the Road Traffic Code, the Deputy Minister also mentioned:

- Abandonment of a victim will be treated as a felony.

- Motorcycles will only have priority in front of a traffic light and not between cars.

"We are looking at the potential for a ring that contributes to the environmental balance since we have 400 new buses and will have 950 by the summer. We are recording the data in the ministry to see how many cars, electric and hybrid, which could be the basis of such a plan.
