BMW Motorrad presents the R12 nineT

Η νέα R 12 nineT παρουσιάζεται τώρα για τα “100 χρόνια BMW Motorrad” και αποτελεί την διάδοχο της R nineT, η οποία λανσαρίστηκε ακριβώς πριν από δέκα χρόνια με την ευκαιρία της 90ής επετείου της BMW Motorrad.

 

 

The new BMW R 12 nineT continues uninterrupted the 100 years of charm and tradition of the BMW Motorcycle

Like the 2013 BMW R nineT, the new BMW R 12 nineT is an authentic, powerful, classic roadster that offers a wealth of options for almost unlimited customisation and personalisation.

Dr. Markus Schramm, Head of BMW Motorrad states: "The R nineT and the concept of customising have established the new Heritage experience for BMW Motorrad's 90th birthday and have become an indispensable cornerstone of our model range. The new R 12 nineT consistently continues the successful heritage surrounding BMW's legendary boxer engines with an even more classic, unadorned design language, even greater freedom for customising and, finally, new and innovative technologies."

Πριν από 100 χρόνια, η πρώτη μοτοσικλέτα BMW – η R 32 – βασιζόταν ήδη στον επίπεδο δικύλινδρο κινητήρα (flat-twin). Ο αδιαμφισβήτητος σχεδιασμός του boxer, η ισχυρή επιτάχυνση, η μοναδική απόδοση ισχύος, ο χαρακτηριστικός ήχος και η ομαλή του λειτουργία, τον κατέστησαν γρήγορα θρυλικό συνώνυμο των μοτοσικλετών BMW. Even more classic, authentic design, attention to detail and more choice customizing

Even more than its predecessor, the new R 12 nineT combines the rugged character of the boxer engine and the iconic style of motorcycles of yesteryear with innovative technologies and a modular philosophy that offers the rider a maximum number of personalisation options. Avoiding anything superfluous and remaining committed to the core values of motorcycles, it offers a high emotional appeal. Clean, classic looks and attention to detail were at the top of the agenda in the motorcycle's design phase.

Ο Edgar Heinrich, Επικεφαλής Σχεδίασης της BMW Motorrad σχολιάζει σχετικά: «Η σχεδιαστική γλώσσα ορίζεται από την καθαρή γραμμή ρεζερβουάρ/σέλας/ουράς, στο στυλ της παραδοσιακής /5 ή της θρυλικής R 90 S της δεκαετίας του ’70. Με την πρώτη ματιά, γίνεται αντιληπτό ότι το ρεζερβουάρ από μόνο του είναι ένα κλασικό χαρακτηριστικό BMW boxer, με χαρακτηριστική κυρτότητα στο κάτω άκρο και κλασική επαφή με τα γόνατα. Η νέα R 12 NineT διαθέτει επίσης πλευρικά καλύμματα στην περιοχή του τριγώνου του πλαισίου με αυθεντική εμφάνιση Roadster – άλλη μια αναφορά στις μοτοσικλέτες BMW της δεκαετίας του ’70».

Η ιδιαίτερη προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια είναι επίσης εμφανής στο επανασχεδιασμένο εμπρός φτερό, στον κύριο προβολέα LED με το μαύρο περιμετρικό φως και στα δύο στρογγυλά όργανα που παραπέμπουν στο παραδοσιακό στυλ άλλων εποχών. Ως είθισται, προσφέρονται ελκυστικές επιλογές customizing από τη συλλογή γνήσιων αξεσουάρ της BMW Motorrad. Με γνώμονα το customizing, η νέα R 12 nineT διαθέτει επίσης μια μονάδα πίσω φώτων LED ενσωματωμένη στη σέλα, η οποία καθιστά πλέον εύκολη την υλοποίηση μιας “κοντής ουράς”.
