Andreas Seidl is the new CEO of Sauber. Born in Passau, Germany, Mr. Seidl began his career in motorsport with BMW's Formula 1 programme, where he worked for several years as Head of Track Operations at Sauber. Then, as Team Principal of Porsche, Mr. Seidl won a number of championships, including three victories from 2015 to 2017 at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, before taking over as Team Principal of the McLaren F1 Team in 2019.
Mr. Seidl will replace Frédéric Vasseur as CEO and will work with the team to determine the new Team Leader.
