Since, admittedly, the car exhibition "AUTOKINISI EKO 2018" held in Elliniko is the best in recent years, it could not fail to be "rewarded" by the world. Perhaps as another sign of market recovery, car and technology enthusiasts are flocking to the exhibition by the thousands, setting a new record for visitor numbers.
On Friday 9 November - the opening day and the weekend of 10-11 November, the number of visitors exceeded 33,000. The turnout of visitors is reminiscent of the times when the car market had record sales.
The interest of the visitors has also been recorded by the representatives of the car importers and dealers participating in this year's event. Visitors want to learn about the latest models, new versions, technology and promotional activities implemented by the companies.
Already the representatives of the companies have received orders for a significant number of cars and they estimate that the number of orders will increase in the coming days. Another point worth emphasizing is that potential buyers are interested in the more luxurious versions of the cars they choose.
The increase in new car sales in October by 13% and the increase in sales volume in the ten-month period January-October 2018 by 19.8 %, compared to the same period last year, confirms the interest of drivers in acquiring a new and safe car with reduced emissions.
We remind you that this year's "AUTOMOBILE EKO 2018" is upgraded, 1500sqm of exhibition space has been added to accommodate more importing delegations. The exhibition will remain open until Sunday 18 November. A large space has been secured for free parking.
The ticket is 6 euros. Free admission for children accompanied by their parents (up to 12 years old). For the unemployed and students the ticket is 3 euros.
