The MINI Countryman also scores highly in the area of passive safety, thanks to its innovative systems. The standard central airbag located between the driver and passenger seats has been rated as particularly effective.
The evaluation
The compact crossover model scored the highest score in the driver-side frontal crash test on an obstacle on the driver's side and on a car surface equal to 40% of its width, as well as in the side impact test on a pole, offering excellent protection for children.
