The new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe came to Greece (prices)

The full range of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe starts its commercial course in the Greek market. Equipped with the advanced 4xe Plug-in Hybrid system, the 5th generation of the award-winning SUV offers more technology, safety, luxury and efficiency, making it, among other things, the most environmentally friendly Grand Cherokee ever built.

The new Grand Cherokee is based on an all-new platform designed around the 4xe hybrid system, the most advanced all-wheel drive system introduced to date by Jeep. The fact that the new model is exclusively available in Europe with the Plug-in Hybrid 4xe system is perfectly in line with the brand's strategy of aiming to have all its sales on the continent exclusively made up of electrified models by the end of the decade.

The exterior appearance with classic brand features such as the grille with seven vertical grilles is combined with advanced technology solutions such as full-LED headlights. Similarly, inside, luxury and premium quality are combined with advanced multimedia and connectivity solutions and of course the ample space you'd expect from a Grand Cherokee.

The interior

At 4.91m long, 1.96m wide (with the mirrors folded), 1.8m high and 2.96m long (more than 50mm longer than the previous generation), the new Jeep® Grand Cherokee 4xe offers plenty of room for five passengers and their luggage in addition to an impressive road presence. Complementing the numerous in-cabin storage points is the luggage space, which exceeds 1,000 litres with the rear seats in their normal position and doubles when they are folded.

The highlight of the passenger cabin is of course the 10.25" touchscreen, which for the first time in its class is in front of the front passenger and is combined with two more 10.1" digital screens, one for the instrument panel and one for the centre console. Elements such as heated, ventilated and massage seats, as well as atmospheric lighting that can be adjusted in terms of intensity and colour, complete the picture of the most advanced and comfortable Grand Cherokee.

The new architecture on which the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is based also enables the implementation of an impressive range of comfort and safety systems that exceeds 110 advanced components. These include, among others, the exclusive Quadra-Lift air suspension system with active damping system, a range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that also enable level 2 autonomous driving, collision avoidance systems and a night vision system.

Off road

The Grand Cherokee name is also synonymous with top off-road capabilities, an element that is also enhanced in the new generation by the 4xe (PHEV) technology that offers all-electric (and 4×4 option) drive for up to 50km and a combined range of up to 700km.The system combines a 2-litre turbo petrol engine, two electric motors, a 400V battery pack and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Total output is 380 hp and 637 Nm of torque. The new Grand Cherokee 4xe is also the most capable 4×4 in the model's history. The Trailhawk 4xe version will also be available, which has overcome the legendary tests of the Rubicon Trail even when powered solely by electricity. Depending on the version, Quadra Trac II and Quadra Drive II all-wheel drive systems are available, while the power and advanced all-wheel drive system allows the new Grand Cherokee 4xe to have an impressive towing capacity of up to 2,300 kg.

The new Grand Cherokee is immediately available for orders in the Greek market in three versions, each with a distinct character: the Limited 4xe for those who want the authentic Grand Cherokee experience in the hybrid era; Trailhawk 4xe, for ultimate off-road capabilities; Overland 4xe, with an emphasis on luxury; and Summit Reserve 4xe, which combines the ultimate level of comfort and equipment with the ability to drive even the most rugged trails. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in the Greek market with prices starting from 92,500 euros, 4-year factory warranty coverage with up to 160,00km and a corresponding duration of roadside assistance service.

Thanks to the 4xe Plug-in Hybrid system, all new Grand Cherokee vehicles are exempt from paying road tax and are available without restrictions on the Ring.
