The main message of the information that will be given by members of the "A.O. Kouros" team, who will also distribute information leaflets, is "I don't run in my City" and will refer to the necessity of further reducing speed limits within residential areas.
Simultaneously with the race, on Saturday, November 5, the Volunteer Group A.O. Kouros, which has extensive action in the field of Road Safety in the region, will be at the Service Park area distributing information leaflets on Road Safety and Traffic Education.
Motorsport and the people involved in it are not a separate social group, but are active members of the society they are part of. In this context and wanting to highlight the social face of the races and declare its awareness of such an important issue, the Sports Association "Start Line" will host at the Service Park in Nea Peramos Megaron, the Voluntary Group of Megaron "A.O. Kouros", which will carry out an action for Road Safety at the same time as the race.
Road Safety is a pressing issue in our country, as road fatalities are high, especially among young people. The active Volunteer Group of Megara "A.O. Kouros", led by Mr. Sotiris Giannopoulos, will be at the Port of Nea Peramos throughout the duration of the Seajets 37th Paladio Rally, distributing information material on Road Safety and Traffic Education. The central message of the information will be "I don't run in my City" and will be about the necessity of reducing speed limits within residential areas from 50 to 30 km/h. The members of A.O. Kouros will inform spectators, team members and crews about an issue that concerns everyone, since we all face it
daily.
The Organizing Committee of the Seajets 37th Paladio Rally welcomes the action of the "A.O. Kouros" Team and expresses its thanks for this special cooperation.
It is reminded that the Seajets 37th Paladio Rally will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 with the focus on Nea Peramos Megara and consists of 7 Special Routes of 50,36 km length. It is the 5th round of the Asphalt Rally Cup of Central Greece and the 7th and final round of the Historic Car Rally Championship.
The race is under the auspices of the Municipality of Megareon, with the support of the Municipality of Mandra-Eidyllia, the Municipal Community and the Commercial Association of Nea Peramos.
