Nissan LEAF at the TIF as the... taxi of the future

The new, all-electric Nissan LEAF will be on display from 8 to 16 September at the 83rd Thessaloniki International Fair, in a specially designed outdoor area on the central axis in front of Pavilion 15.

The new Nissan LEAF will be presented as the "taxi of the future", demonstrating its capabilities, combined with all the modern services offered by radio taxis. At the same time, visitors to the pavilion will be informed about the benefits of electromobility and intelligent mobility, while there will also be a system to showcase the city's tourist spots to passengers, through a look back at the past and the operation of taxis decades ago.

The new, all-electric Nissan LEAF is the spearhead of Nissan's Intelligent Mobility strategy, featuring innovative technology and design that makes it the best-in-class choice. With a new 40 kWh battery pack that delivers 270 km on a combined driving cycle, based on the new realistic WLTP fuel consumption and emissions standards, the LEAF offers drivers a safe and dynamic driving experience.

The new Nissan LEAF features a host of new, innovative technologies, such as Nissan ProPILOT, ProPILOT Park and e-Pedal, which are proving very popular with customers. So far, 72% of new LEAF buyers have opted for the optional ProPILOT semi-autonomous driving system.

The all-electric model has won numerous awards for its innovative technology and performance. It won the 2018 World Green Car Award at the New York International Auto Show and received 5-star safety ratings from both the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) and Japan's New Car Assessment Programme.

The Nissan LEAF is the first all-electric vehicle in automotive history, having surpassed 340,000 cars sold since the first-generation model went on sale in 2010. With more than 41,000 cars sold in Europe since its commercial launch in October 2017, the new Nissan LEAF continues this legacy, leading the way towards a sustainable future.

The new Nissan LEAF is available in the Greek market with a price starting from 32.990€. More information can be found at https://www.nissan.gr/vehicles/new-vehicles/leaf.html
