The coronavirus pandemic has certainly raised the concerns of many of us about the ways in which we can both contribute to preventing its transmission and the ways in which we can protect ourselves from it.
The car is an integral part of most people's daily life, especially now that many of us avoid using transport, in order to expose ourselves less in crowded environments, both to avoid possible infection by the virus and for a more comfortable commute, since wearing a mask is compulsory, but it makes the commute more uncomfortable.
Nissan, taking into account the recommendations of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is taking the initiative to give us some useful tips for disinfecting car surfaces in order to increase the personal protection of every family member who uses the car.
First, it is important to wear disposable gloves and to we use the appropriate means, so that we can achieve both the cleaning and disinfection of our car, but also not to cause damage from the use of the wrong cleaner.
The majority of household cleaners and disinfectants, especially those containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, benzene or solvents, can cause damage to internal surfaces. Αντ’ αυτού, alcohol-based disinfectant wipes or sprays with an alcohol content of at least 70% are ideal for disinfecting and preventing damage to internal surfaces.

- Air conditioning ducts

It is advisable to be meticulous with the cleaning of the car and the rest of the premises, as prevention is the best protection measure.
