With proportions reminiscent of the VISION RS prototype unveiled at this year's Paris Motor Show, SKODA has released a preview of a new five-door compact hatchback, revealing its silhouette. A modern design with strong dynamic lines is allowed to stand out.
The new model will be based on the smaller version of the Group's MQB platform, which gives designers and engineers the comfort to offer large interior spaces while reducing exterior dimensions for a more comfortable city drive and a more dynamic highway or suburban drive.
At the same time, the MQB is by design ready to accommodate all the latest generation security systems, which is expected to place the new compact hatchback at the top of its class in this area as well. The new model will debut in European markets before the end of 2018.
