This scooter can be seen on Hyundai models

A new, prototype electric scooter has been unveiled by Hyundai Motor. The new scooter is based on the prototype unveiled at the 2017 Las Vegas tech show (CES) and is very likely to be seen in the brand's future urban commuting models. At first, the scooter has a 20-kilometer range and charges while we drive our car. 

The new electric scooter features rear-wheel drive, a large lithium battery and stylish front and rear lights. Shifting the drive of the new 2019 model from the front to the rear wheel upgrades stability and safety by placing the weight closer to the rear. In addition, Group engineers have added front-wheel suspension to provide a smoother ride, even on rough surfaces.

Η Hyundai σχεδιάζει να προσφέρει first-και last-mile mobility μέσω της ενσωμάτωσης του scooter στα μελλοντικά οχήματά της. Όταν τοποθετείται σε ένα όχημα, φορτίζεται αυτόματα χρησιμοποιώντας ηλεκτρική ενέργεια που παράγεται κατά τη διάρκεια της οδήγησης. Αυτό, ότι πιθανότατα δηλαδή θα το δούμε στο… πορτ μπαγκάζ ενός μελλοντικού μοντέλου της Hyundai, το λέει και ο επικεφαλής του Hyundai Motor Group Robotics Team, DongJin Hyun: “Πρόκειται για  προσωπικό σκούτερ που είναι τοποθετημένο στο όχημα, το οποίο θα μπορούσε να παρουσιαστεί στα μελλοντικά οχήματα της Hyundai Motor Group. Θέλουμε να κάνουμε τη ζωή των πελατών μας όσο το δυνατόν πιο άνετη και ευχάριστη. Το προσωπικό ηλεκτρικό σκούτερ συμβάλλει παράλληλα στη μείωση της κυκλοφοριακής συμφόρησης και των εκπομπών ρύπων στα κέντρα των πόλεων».

The new version of the Hyundai Motor Group's electric scooter has a 10.5 Ah lithium battery. This allows the scooter to achieve a maximum speed of 20 km/h and is sufficient to power the scooter for about 20 km on a single charge.

The scooter is portable and weighs about 7.7 kg. Its unique and compact design with triple folding makes it lighter and more compact than any similar product. Further enhancing its ease of use, it features a digital display that shows battery status and speed, and for night riding the new scooter is equipped with two LED headlights at the front and two taillights at the rear.
