Official: The Alfa Romeo Giulietta returns... perhaps as a convertible and coupé

The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta έρχεται το 2028, αναμένεται δηλαδή ένα χρόνο νωρίτερα από ένα μεγάλο SUV.  Ο διευθύνων σύμβουλος Jean-Philippe Imparato το επιβεβαίωσε κατά τη διάρκεια εκδήλωσης που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Μουσείο Arese σχετικά με τι θα περιμένουν οι Alfisti τα επόμενα χρόνια. Μετά το λανσάρισμα της 33 Stradale (το 90% των πελατών της οποίας έχει επιλέξει τη βενζινοκίνητη έκδοση και το 10% την ηλεκτρική παραλλαγή) και της Milano, η οποία θα κάνει ντεμπούτο τον Απρίλιο, θα έρθει η σειρά της νέας Stelvio και της Giulia, που επιβεβαιώνεται επίσημα από το νέο βιομηχανικό σχέδιο της μάρκας. Και για τα επόμενα χρόνια – άρα από το 2027 – ο νούμερο ένα του Biscione ανακοίνωσε την πρόθεσή του να λανσάρει ένα τέταρτο σπορ αυτοκίνητο και έναν κληρονόμο του hatchback της κατηγορίας C, το οποίο θα μπορούσε να είναι διαθέσιμο σε πολλές παραλλαγές αμαξώματος, από κουπέ έως διθέσιο roadster.

Geopolitical factors

These products were not included in the presentation of the new models because they will arrive after 2026, a time horizon for which the Stellantis Group has already planned all investment plans. Το πρώτο μοντέλο που ανακοίνωσε ο Imparato για τη “μετά-Julia” είναι ένα μεγάλο SUV που θα πρέπει ιδανικά να τοποθετηθεί πάνω από τη Stelvio. Σήμερα θα έφτιαχνα ένα ηλεκτρικό σπορ αυτοκίνητο παρόμοιο με το Purosangue, αλλά πρέπει επίσης να δούμε την εξέλιξη των παγκόσμιων αγορών. Και να έχουμε ένα σχέδιο Β, με επιστροφή στην κατηγορία C. Στην περίπτωση του SUV, η πλατφόρμα θα ήταν η Stla Large της μικρής αδελφής Stelvio, η οποία θα εγγυάται υψηλές αυτονομίες (της τάξης των 700 km Wltp) και μεγάλη σχεδιαστική ευελιξία. The Giulietta returns

The second model, on the other hand, is the most interesting for our market. It is an electric successor to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which will share the same DNA with another important Italian model, the Lancia Delta. Both cars will be produced in Basilicata, at the Melfi (PZ) plant, and will be based on the Stla Medium platform, also credited with a range of around 700 km for the more efficient single-engine versions. The chassis will be able to accommodate one or two engines, with maximum installation flexibility.

Coupe and roadster if the Giulietta does well...

Flexibility that will allow the Giulietta to have sporty leanings. Apart from a possible Quadrifoglio version, in fact, there could be room for all-new body styles. Imparato added that, with reasonable trim, if the Giulietta is successful, there could also be room for more dynamic variants, such as a coupe, a convertible and a two-seat roadster. A sort of Duetto of the electric age.
