230 cameras for those who run red lights are installed in Attica

Οι πρώτες τέτοιες αυτόματες κάμερες τοποθετήθηκαν στη λεωφόρο Ποσειδώνος, αρχίζοντας να λειτουργούν πιλοτικά ίσως και εντός της εβδομάδας. Το αμέσως επόμενο διάστημα θα ακολουθήσει η τοποθέτηση των συστημάτων και στις άλλες κεντρικές οδικές αρτηρίες. Συνολικά, 230 τέτοιες ασύρματες κάμερες θα τοποθετηθούν στην Αττική.

Mr Patoulis points out that “χρέος μας είναι να προστατέψουμε τις ζωές, αλλά και τη σωματική ακεραιότητα των πολιτών της Αττικής μας. Οι πρώτες κάμερες είναι ήδη σε λειτουργία και τις επόμενες ημέρες πρόκειται να παραδοθούν στην Ελληνική Αστυνομία για χρήση, αφού πρώτα φυσικά ολοκληρωθεί ο απαραίτητος τεχνικός έλεγχος από την Διεύθυνση Διαχείρισης Μητροπολιτικών Υποδομών της Περιφέρειας Αττικής.
