Hello dear listeners, and welcome to today’s TSF1 Greece Podcast with Alex, Panos, and Dimitris, where we will dive into the Qatar GP. Before the Qatar Grand Prix began, Sainz’s Ferrari faced a fuel issue, sidelining him, while Perez’s Red Bull underwent a power unit change, relegating him to a pit lane start. A collision between Mercedes teammates led to the deployment of a safety car. Throughout the race, Verstappen showcased dominance, consistently leading and setting the fastest laps. Several drivers, including Perez, Gasly, and Albon, faced penalties for track limit violations. As the race progressed, Norris was instructed to maintain his position behind Piastri, despite being faster. Towards the end, a battle for the 9th position intensified among Stroll, Perez, and Gasly. Russell, despite tyre challenges, managed to fend off Leclerc. Ultimately, Verstappen clinched the win, with Piastri and Norris finishing second and third respectively, marking a standout performance for the trio in Qatar.
