The Nissan Qashqai is also good at... pulling

Nissan seems to be proud and expecting quite well from the all-new, hybrid Qashqai. The - not unreasonably - best seller in the segment (and in this generation it has already exceeded 15,000 orders in the UK), now comes to excel in an area we probably... didn't expect: That of towing, as it has won its first distinction from the Caravan and Motorhome Club at the Towcar of the Year 2022 awards, in the UK.

The awards were announced at the Caravan and Motorhome Club Towcar of the Year Awards 2022, held at the Royal Automobile Club, London. Andrew Humberstone, Managing Director of Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd, commented: "Designed and built in the UK, Qashqai has provided millions of customers with the desirable, reliable and practical mobility they seek. It supports a huge variety of requirements for modern lifestyles, including those that need integrated towing capability.

The Nissan Qashqai tows a caravan. Piece of cake!

We're thrilled that the all-new Nissan Qashqai has already been recognised in the prestigious Towcar of the Year awards, just months after its launch".

The cars nominated for these awards were assessed by an independent team of experts who carried out an in-depth study and evaluation of the technical specifications and towing capabilities.

It is worth noting that the Caravan and Motorhome Club's members, who number close to one million, consult the organisation on the best vehicles for their towing needs, both for business and leisure use.

Supporting Nissan's goal of achieving 50% 'electrified' sales in Europe by 2024, the new Nissan Qashqai will not only be available with the 1.3 DiG-T petrol engine equipped with hybrid technology, but also with e-POWER, Nissan's innovative and award-winning powertrain system, which draws on technologies from the ground-breaking Nissan LEAF electric vehicle.

With both 2WD and 4WD versions, as well as with the 6-speed manual or the new Xtronic CVT transmission, as well as with the electrification brought by the refined e-POWER, the Qashqai will fully meet every requirement of the prospective buyer, with driving pleasure being at the heart of every powertrain version of the model.

With prices for the new Qashqai starting from €24,490, prospective buyers can find out more at https://www.nissan.gr/vehicles/new-vehicles/new-qashqai-2021.html, as well as in the network of official Nissan dealers throughout Greece.
