Behold the Mitsubishi ASX 2020

Tο compact SUV ASX Μ.Υ. 2020 (RVR ή Outlander Sport σε μερικές αγορές) θα παρουσιάσει η Mitsubishi σε παγκόσμια πρεμιέρα  στην 89η Διεθνή Έκθεση Αυτοκινήτου της Γενεύης που θα πραγματοποιηθεί 5 -17 Μαρτίου.

Since its introduction in 2009, the ASX has sold almost 1.32 million units in around 90 countries. The largest markets are B. America, Europe, Australia and China. Currently MMC's third best-selling model, the ASX plays a leading role in the company's global strategy.

Aesthetically, the new model has been completely redesigned under the design philosophy of "robust & intelligent," which perfectly expresses Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's "Drive your Ambitions" doctrine.

The ASX is a compact SUV designed for the city, and its immense versatility makes it ideal for everything from everyday use to exciting adventures. The lightweight, compact body combined with excellent SUV-level visibility give the ASX excellent handling and drivability.

For European markets, the ASX is powered by a 16-valve 2.0L MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system) engine mated to either a five-speed manual transmission, or an INVECS-III CVT (Intelligent and Innovative Vehicle Electronics Control System) with 6-speed Sports Mode. It will be available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. 

The ASX also offers reliability and safety with features such as RISE body structure for crashes and a Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) braking system that reduces the impact of a forward collision.

The design philosophy is "Impact & Impulse." In addition to the ruggedness and durability inherent in Mitsubishi, the upgraded and authentic design declares power, inviting drivers to follow their instincts and take on new challenges.

At the front, the new ASX adopts an evolved form of MMC's DYNAMIC SHIELD front-end design philosophy. 

The bumper hugs the central protective section on both sides, while the geometric aesthetics of the grille and apron with vertical and horizontal lines under the bumper express strength and durability. As part of the new design, the bonnet becomes deeper, visually enhancing the vehicle's physiognomy. The distinctive LED headlight arrangement with turn signals and fog lights at the ends of the bumper marks a new Mitsubishi look at the front end.

At the rear, the ASX uses LED taillights (excluding the turn signals) in an expressive design that runs the full width of the car and emphasises the robust stance. The skirt on the lower bumper similarly exudes a sense of strength.

In terms of colours, the ASX is offered in the vibrant, very bright Red Diamond, the sporty and energetic Sunshine Orange, and the elegant and classy Oak Brown.

Improvements to Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA)

Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) has been upgraded with a focus on advanced connectivity. 

- The screen size has been increased from seven to eight inches. Videos stored on USB memory sticks can now be viewed on the SDA*4 screen.

- Top versions are equipped with Tom Tom*5 navigation system. Real-time road traffic information can now be assessed with an internet connection and the use of a smartphone.

- An app using a speedometer, odometer, warning lights and other vehicle information will soon be available. The app will check the remaining fuel and guide the driver to the nearest refuelling stations, and will also provide information on the required service and inspection intervals.
