SEAT is preparing a third SUV

Το νέο SUV θα τοποθετηθεί πάνω από την κατηγορία του Ateca και θα γίνει το κορυφαίο μοντέλο της SEAT, ενώ θα διατίθεται σε 5-θέσια και 7-θέσια έκδοση. Θα σχεδιαστεί στη Βαρκελώνη και θα κατασκευάζεται στο εργοστάσιο του Wolfsburg, στη καρδιά του Volkswagen Group. Αναμένεται λανσαριστεί μέσα στο 2018.

Η γκάμα της SEAT συνεχίζει να μεγαλώνει. Η αυτοκινητοβιομηχανία θα ενισχύσει περαιτέρω την επιθετική προϊοντική της πολιτική που ξεκίνησε με το Ateca, με το λανσάρισμα ενός τρίτου SUV, που θα αποτελέσει την ναυαρχίδα της μάρκας. Το νέο SUV θα τοποθετηθεί στη επόμενη κατηγορία πάνω από το επιτυχημένο Ateca, θα προσφέρεται  σε 5θέσια και 7θέσια έκδοση και θα λανσαριστεί το 2018.

Before that, in the second half of this year, SEAT will launch the Arona, a compact crossover, which will be built in Martorell on the same platform as the new Ibiza. The new, larger, SUV will be built at Volkswagen's Wolfsburg plant, thus facilitating synergies within the Group, taking advantage of the MQB A2 platform.

SEAT President Luca de Meo expressed his satisfaction with the new SUV: "This car will bring new customers to us, enhance the brand image and improve profit margins. It will be designed in Barcelona and manufactured in Germany. Production of the new SUV in Wolfsburg, at the heart of the Group, will strengthen the ties between SEAT and Volkswagen."

SEAT's new SUV will continue SEAT's aggressive product policy beyond 2017 and will contribute to further improving the company's financial results in the coming years. In 2016, the company achieved the best financial results in its history with an operating profit of 143 million euros.
