Renault opens its third experimental innovation centre

Μετά τη Silicon Valley και το Tel Aviv, η Renault εγκαινιάζει το τρίτο Renault Open Innovation Lab στο Παρίσι με την ονομασία “Le Square”, ενισχύοντας περαιτέρω τις δομές της που της επιτρέπουν να αποτελεί το σημείο αναφοράς στον τομέα των καινοτόμων τεχνολογιών, όπως η αυτόνομη οδήγηση, η τεχνητή νοημοσύνη τα ηλεκτρικά οχήματα  και η ασφάλεια διαδικτύου. 

Approaching the 120th anniversary of the start of car production, Renault is now more dynamic than ever in exploring new ideas and technologies that will define the future of motoring. In this context, Renault is setting up a network of facilities designed to promote research in areas that will play a key role in the design of the brand's cars in the years to come. The first facilities in the network were set up in 2011 in Silicon Valley in the USA, followed by a second office in Tel Aviv (2016). Today, with the activation of the Open Innovation Lab - called "Le Square" - in Paris, Renault aims to further strengthen its efforts to develop new paths that will explore the future of mobility.

"Le Square" was conceived as a true experimental centre where Renault engineers, in close collaboration with suppliers' people and independent researchers, will work to reinforce the brand's strategic decision to remain at the centre of developments and innovation. The respective centres in Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv focus on autonomous driving - artificial intelligence (Silicon Valley) and electric vehicles - internet security (Tel Aviv).
